Once fully equipped, you can reach the Le Lys ski area via a fast and comfortable gondola lift, and step into a true paradise for downhill skiing and snowboarding.

Within the National Park, you will discover our “little Canada”: Pont d’Espagne.

Its spectacular waterfalls and forests home to Pyrenean chamois will win you over. You can enjoy downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or sledging there in complete peace and quiet. This exceptional place will delight both children and adults.

Cauterets in summer: hiking, mountain biking and panoramic views

In summer, Pont d’Espagne becomes the perfect place for family walks or hikes towards lakes and mountain refuges. You will not miss the stunning blue waters of Lake Gaube or the Vignemale glacier.

The slopes of the Le Lys area also offer many opportunities for mountain biking enthusiasts, with up to 1,500 metres of vertical descent.

Hikers will enjoy the Le Lys ridges, offering outstanding views over the Pyrenees mountain range.

And after the effort, it’s time to relax: come and unwind at Les Bains du Rocher, Cauterets’ thermal leisure centre.
